Obituary of John Winters

WINTERS, John June 12, 1961 - January 29, 2016 John passed away peacefully at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor after a three week battle with cancer. He is the son of Stanley (Geraldine 1992) and Carol Anne. John is survived by his life long partner Rick Lee, by his brothers Randy (Anne), Rick (Cathy) and sisters Christine (Mark) and Patricia (Malcolm). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. John spent the last 30 years in Michigan practicing Architecture. He was self employed. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9pm. Prayers Tuesday at 4:30pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 10am at the Funeral Home then to St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe St.) for Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Cemetery. A Celebration of John's life will be held in the future in Royal Oak, Michigan.
