Obituary of Lenka Dedo

DEDO, Lenka It is with broken hearts that our family announces the passing of Lenka Dedo on January 7th, 2016 with her son and daughter-in-law by her side at 52 years of age. Lenka was born in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Predeceased by her father Ivo. Loving daughter of her mother Nike of Croatia. Loving sister of Ana, and Maja of Croatia; Rina, and Tomislav of Sweden. Beloved mother of her son Dr. Vedran Nicholas Vukotic and wife Katarina "Katie" (nee Rukavina). She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and other extended family in Croatia. Lenka will always be remembered as a resilient woman and a proud and loving mother with a love of nature and the sea. Special thanks go out to John and Marlene and their son Dr. Stephen Rukavina for their support, as well as to Dr. B. Jhawar, Dr. J. Zakaria, Dr. D. Cargill, and Dr. C. Sheehan, in addition to the nurses and personal support workers in the palliative care unit at Hotel-Dieu Grace Health Care for their compassionate care. E. on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for funeral mass at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
