Obituary of Stefan Vinski

VINSKI, Stefan Steve Born May 7, 1930 in Karlovac, Croatia. Passed away peacefully on January 5, 2016 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of 45 years to Kata Vinski (nee Valentic). Loving father to daughter, Mira Vinski, and son, Peter Vinski and wife Janine. Cherished Deda to Alethia, Abigail, and Isaiah. Dear brother to Mato Vinski and wife Ljuba of Australia, Marko Vinski and wife Anna of Toronto. Predeceased by siblings Joso, Franjo, Slavo and Magda. Stefan is survived by many nieces and nephews in Croatia, Australia and Canada. Steve was a retired employee of National Radiator, and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519.253.7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at 8 pm. Funeral Services on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 9:15 am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund, or Alzheimer's Society of Windsor-Essex County.
