Obituary of Panagiotis Kouvalis

KOUVALIS, Panagiotis Passed away peacefully on December 16, 2015 at 78 years of age. Loving husband of Thomai (nee Divitaris) for 25 years. Cherished father of Nick (Amber Joy) Kouvalis, Maria (Sheldon) Grayer and Sotiria Kouvalis and step-father of Peter (Ina) Bragiannis and Cathy Pillon (David Larocque). Adored Papou of Panagiotis, Steven, Gabriel, Kurtis, Arianna, Leah, Katie, Alivia, and Alyssa. Predeceased by his parents Giorgios and Maria, brothers Vasilis, Elias. Survived by his sister Kostoula (Panagiotis). Panagiotis will always be remembered for the way his face lit up when he was spending time with his grandchildren. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Sunday December 20, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thrice Holy Hymn Sunday at 8:00 p.m. On Monday December 21, 2015 family and friends are invited to meet at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, (65 Ellis St. E.) doors will be opened at 9:30 a.m. Thrice Holy Hymn begins at 10 a.m. immediately followed by Funeral Service. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. In memory of Panagiotis, donations may be made to The New Canadian Center of Excellence Inc. (660 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor, Ontario).
