Obituary of Francis Russel Curtis

It is with heavy hearts that the Curtis family announces the passing of their beloved father Frank on December 11, 2015 at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare - Hospice at the age of 81 years. Born in Sandwich, Essex. Frank will be joining in heaven Frances Curtis (Nee Elliott)(2003) and his parents Russel Curtis (1993) and Voylet (Nee Plaine)(1990). Cherished father of Gerald Curtis, Mary and Louis Keresztyen, Joe and Penny Curtis, Jim Curtis and Sheryl. Caring grandfather of Jeff, Michael (2009) and Melanie Keresztyen; Bobby-Jo, Stacy and Robin Curtis. Proud great grandfather of Cody, Sydney, Bailey, Madison, Kirsten, Peyton and Hayden. Dear brother of Edmund (Donna-Mae) Curtis. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Frank is remembered by many for his years as a Mechanic at Essex Farmers Ltd. and retired from Wajax. Lifetime commitment to Checker Flag Raceway. A special thank you to the nurses and staff of Windsor Hospice for their care and compassion to Frank and his family. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, in the Chapel. As per Frank"s wishes cremation to follow.
