Obituary of Julianna Kemeny

Julianna Kemeny (nee) Denkovits<br/>August 20th, 1943-August 16th, 2020<br/>It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Mother Julianna Kemeny. Born Mol, Yugoslavia, passed away on vacation in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Predeceased by Istvan Kemeny (2005), and her parents Ferenc and Julianna Denkovits (Lajko). Survived by her children Julie Kemeny (Ken Wright), Natalia Kemeny (Peter Foto), Steve Kemeny (Tazdia Kemeny), Sisters Elizabeth Fekete (Andras Fekete), Maria Lajko (Sandor Lajko) GrandChildren Tabitha, Stephanie, Austin, Davis, Jocolynn, Andrew,Charissa, Antonio, Great Grand Children, Mason, Emma, Brooklyn, Scarlett, Willie,Selina,Joshua, Jayce,Josia, Many nieces, nephews, and family in Windsor, Ontario, Mol Yugoslavia, and Melbourne Australia. Julianna was born in Mol Yugoslavia, moved to Windsor, Ontario in 1969. Julia was proud of her Hungarian culture and spoke fluent Hungarian, Yugoslavian, and English. Julia worked many years at Duolflex Company and was a devoted Catholic. Anyone who met Julia immediately wanted more of her time, her personality was out of this world, she was always singing, loved cooking her famous cabbage rolls, and always welcomed anyone to eat at her table. She was an amazing mother who instilled in her children that hard work has rewards and believed in family unity. Most importantly Julia adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren, no one could put a smile on her face like her great grandchildren. Through the years Julia made many long-lasting friends that she cherished dearly -Mary Heredi, Elizabeth Pardi, Julia Bakos, Ibolya Marton. Thank you to the medical team at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre In Fort McMurray, Alberta. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Friday, August 28th, 2020 from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 11:30am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. Reservations are not required. PLEASE NOTE: MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE FUNERAL HOME AND AT THE CEMETERY. <br/>
