Obituary of Michel George aka Mike Lamirande

Lamirande, Michel Passed away at home on October 8th ,2015 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Debbie (nee Smith). Loving father to Misty Elliott (Marc Tremblay) and Mandy Lambert (Justin). Proud papa to Brooklyn, Jackson and Wrenna. Mike is predeceased by parents Arthur and Jeanette Lamirande and siblings Georges Lamirande, Jacques Lamirande, Jean- Guy Lamirande and Jacqueline Savage. Survived by sisters Marguerite Groulx, Gilbert Vezina (Roger) and Maurice Lamirande (Pierette) and many nieces and nephews. Mike will be dearly missed by in laws , Nancy and Cam Patterson, Bill and Stephanie Smith, mother- in- law Trudy Smith and father- in- law Bill Smith. The family would like to thank palliative care and Dr. Gall from Hospice, for all their support and kindness. A special thank-you to Carly from Bayshore for her superb level of care and compassion. Mike loved animals and rescued many over the years. In his memory, donations to the Humane Society of Windsor would be appreciated. ( Donation envelopes available at the funeral home).
