Obituary of Anna Bernik

BERNIK, Anna (nee Triller) Born in Grenc Slovenia on August 4, 1926 and passed away peacefully on October 5, 2015 at Windsor Regional Hospital with family at her side. Reunited with her beloved husband Vinko. Loving mother of John and Marta of Mississauga; Mark and Ronny; Mary Ann and Ted Wypych; George and Janet; Joan and Tom Recchia. Proud and much loved grandmother to Kim and Chris (Diana) Bernik; Kristen (Kevin Ostler), Steven (Nelly), Jonathan and Michael Wypych; Brian (Lindsay), Annie (Brad Sheardown), George Jr. Bernik, Ava, Tom and Max Recchia. Loving great- grandmother to Mia, Lila, Addison and Everett. Predeceased by siblings John, Karl, Minka, Katka and Tilka. Anna was a proud member of the Windsor Slovenian Cultural Club "Zvon" and the Catholic Woman"s League of Canada, as well as a long-time parishioner of St. Anne"s Church. C.W.L prayers Wednesday at 4 pm, parish prayers at 4:30 pm. On Thursday October 8, 2015, all are invited to gather at St. Anne Church (Tecumseh) for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
