Obituary of Elaine Marie Maslak

MASLAK, Elaine Marie (nee Ostapowich) Passed away peacefully on September 24, 2015 at the age of 73 years. Reunited with her husband Michael Maslak (2014) sharing 53 years of marriage. Loving Mom to Eugene and his wife Tammy Maslak. Adored "Aunt Elaine" to Samantha. Loving sister to Delores Day. Predeceased by her parents Alex and Elsie Ostapowich. Dear aunt to Mark Day, and Nicole Day. Elaine was an employee of the former Dominion Forge after many years of dedicated service. She was a devoted member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral and its Ladies Organization. Elaine dedicated her time to making perogies, writing Easter eggs, doing crossword puzzles and enjoying scratchies. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel ) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Sunday September 27, 2015 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Panakhyda Sunday at 7:30 pm. A funeral service will take place on Monday September 28, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Very Rev. Archpriest Roman Kocur officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
