Obituary of Marija Zagar

ZAGAR, Marija (nee Zbiljski ) October 27, 1946 " September 22, 2015 Marija passed away on the morning of September 22 in her 68th year. Loving and devoted wife to Pavao Zagar for 44 years. Beloved Mother to Lidia and Peter Vrhovsek, Ivana and Robert Desilets, Nadalie and Karl Kokic, Josip and Andrea Zagar. Adoring Baba to Claudia, Lukas, Jakob, Victoria, Adam and Mia who is blessed to receive her Baba"s love in Heaven. Predeceased by her parents Marija and Josip Zbiljski. Loving sister to Ankica and the late Ivan Ecimovic, Vikica and the late Pajo Fadljevic, Slavica and Jozef Kovacic, Rezika and Anton Koren, Vilim and Ines Zbiljski, Stef and Bozica Zbiljski, all of Europe. Loving sister-in-law to the late Marica (Ivan) Juracic, the late Josip Zagar, Manda Zagar, Ana (Ivica) Krpan and the late Josipa (Slavko) Grabovac. She was also the proud aunt of many nieces and nephews in Canada, Croatia, Germany and Slovenia. Marija worked at Hiram Walker for 30 years, where she made some of her best and closest friends. Marija was a kind and generous woman with a heart of gold and will be missed deeply. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Thursday September 24, 2015 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Thursday at 8:00pm. Funeral services on Friday September 25, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
