Perhaps few in the present family will remember me, but I well remember George, his sister and parents. He grew up across the street from us on Bridge Avenue. Even as a teenager, I was impressed with George''s behavior, intelligence and mostly, his love of the Canadian military. In the several times that we met over the past 60 years, he was the perfect "gentleman soldier" and was so proud of his contributions to the Canadian forces that it showed in his stature and conversations. My sincere condolences to Ashley and other family and friends......
