Obituary of Sandra Jean Fazekas

FAZEKAS, Sandra Jean “Sandy” (nee Johns)<br/>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra, a loving Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister, Aunt and Friend, on August 12, 2020 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of Al with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage. Loving mother to Paul Fazekas and wife Shelley, Thomas Fazekas, Kathleen Fazekas, and Sara Fazekas. Cherished Nana to Kate Fox (Jordan), Grace, Devon, Quinn, Michael, and Emma. Predeceased by parents Daniel and Dorothy Johns. Dearest loving sister to Grace Johns (Wayne) and sister in-law to Irene Clarke. Adored godmother to Heather Raymond. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sandra was a member of the former St. Gabriel’s Parish and the present Corpus Christi Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and longtime member of the CWL. She enjoyed many years playing euchre with the “Card Club Ladies”. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Sunday, August 16, 2020 from 2-4:30pm and 7-9pm. A private family Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Corpus Christi Church with interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. PLEASE NOTE: MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME, CHURCH AND CEMETERY.
