Obituary of Assunta Gasparet

GASPARET, Assunta "Sunny" (nee DeMartin) Passed away peacefully on August 8, 2015 at Riverside Place Nursing Home at the age of 103. Predeceased by her loving husband Joseph (1976), son Leo Joseph (1952) and parents Cavaliere and Mary DeMartin. Dear sister to Alma Srednicki of Northville,MI and her late husband Ted (1987). Predeceased by her brother William (2002) and his late wife Violet (2006), Roger (2007) and surviving wife Mary, late Linda Deneau (1999) and her late husband Everett (1995). Sunny is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Giovanni Caboto Club - Women's Auxiliary for 84 years. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Riverside Place for their care and compassion provided to Sunny. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 6-9 pm. Parish prayers Tuesday at 7:30 pm. Funeral service on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
