Obituary of Christopher Charles McCaffery

MCCAFFERY, Christopher Charles Passed away peacefully at home on July 22, 2015. Predeceased by his parents Inez (nee Armstrong) and Charles McCaffery. Survived by loving partner Lynn Larocque, children Stacey (Wayne), Chris Jr., David, and their mothers Joanne Martin and Gloria McCaffery. Will be missed by Donald and Krystal Pentz and their children. Chris was a retired teacher at Patterson Collegiate, Herman, Kennedy and Massey secondary schools. He was a successful and respected basketball coach, having won two Provincial Championships. He was an avid sportsman and golfer. Chris was a founding member of the Silver Fox Hockey League and the Mildewed Maple Leafs. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. on Saturday July 25, 2015 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service on Sunday July 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel. Cremation to follow. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Windsor Essex County Humane Society.
