ROSSIT, Pierina (nee Facca) It saddens our hearts to announce the passing of Pierina on July 18th, 2015 at Huron Lodge with her family by her side. Born on June 28th, 1921 in Azzano Decimo, Italy, to Luigi and Antonia Facca. Predeceased by husband Frank (1994) and son Danny (1964) and siblings Maria (Ivo), Luigia, Zefferino, Agostino, Olivo, Giovanni (Mariucci), Antonietta (Ciso), and Antonio. Loving mother to Teresa and son-in-law Rolando Catenacci. Devoted grandmother to Melanie and Christian (Julie Palamides). Cherished great-grandmother (Nonna P.) to Cassandra and Ada. Loving sister to Virginia Villalta (Guiseppe). Sister-in-law to Vittorio Rossit, Elda (Ferrando), Mario and Ada. Long-time close friend of Aldo, Lina, and Miranda. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Pierina will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, strong spirit, quick wit, and feistiness. Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 4:30 p.m. On Wednesday July 22, 2015, relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
