Obituary of Vincenzo Grimaudo

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Vincenzo on August 6, 2020 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Anna with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Cherished father to Lisa (Ken) Miller and Belinda Grayburn. Loving Nonno to Lianna, Lochlan, and Kevin. Predeceased by his parents, Igniazio and Liboria Grimaudo. Beloved brother to the late Antonino, the late Benedetto (Angela), the late Nicolo (Anna), the late Gaspare (Francesca) and the late Francesca (the late Pietro Raspanti), all of Italy. Dear son-in-law of the late Sebastino and Benedetta Pugliesi. Loved brother-in-law of the late Giuseppa Pugliesi (the late Francesco Ferrarella) of Italy, Jerome (Michele) Pugliesi, Andrea Pugliesi, and Nicola (Mirella) Pugliesi, all of France. Vincenzo will be missed dearly by many nieces and nephews of both Italy and France. Vincenzo and Anna immigrated to Canada from France in 1963 where they both worked to build a life for their family. Vincenzo was a dedicated member of the Carpenter’s Union for 55 years. They both loved traveling to France and Italy, where they would spend time with their families. But the things that mattered most to him were his family and his garden. A special thank you to the palliative care team at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare as well as the homecare nurses from LHIN. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Anne’s Church on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 1pm. If you wish to attend the Funeral Mass, please contact WINDSOR CHAPEL on Sunday, August 9, 2020 between the hours of 10am – 4:30pm to make a reservation.
