Obituary of Mary Pauline Niec

NIEC, Mary Pauline (nee Kuzniar) Passed away on June 24, 2015 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus at 82 years of age. Beloved wife of Stanley Niec with whom she celebrated 58 years of marriage. Cherished mother of Elizabeth, Anne (Tony Barberi), Diane (Ryan Hindmarsh), and Mark (Tammy Atherton). Loving grandmother of Gloria, Carson and Michael Barberi. Dear sister of Teddy Kuzniar, and Anne Russell. Mary was a pillar of the Polish Community. She endlessly donated her time and energy to her family, her Polish community and most importantly her church. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League, Holy Trinity Polish Church Choir, Zywy Rozaniec, Plomien (local and theatrical group), and the Polish Carousel. Mary was an accomplished musician, singer (vocalist), music Teacher and organist at Holy Trinity Polish Church since the age of 16. Mary will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all whose hearts she touched. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, June 26 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Friday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to Holy Trinity Polish Church (1035 Ellis St. E.) for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
