Obituary of Giacomina Tata

TATA, Giacomina (nee Pellecchia) Giacomina our loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 with her children by her side. The daughter of the late Carlo Pellecchia and Giacinta Tata was born January 1, 1930 in Alvito, Italy. Predeceased by husband Giuseppe (1973), brother Angelo and sister Maria. Survived by brother-in-law Pasquale and nephew Lino (Raffaela) in Italy. Left behind to cherish many memories of her are her loving son Frank Tata, daughter Maria and son-in-law Giuseppe Inglesi, her 7 grandchildren Joseph, Michael, Sarah, Cassidy Tata and Rosa, Andrea, Gianluca Inglesi. Survived by brother-in-law Isidoro (Antonia), sister-in-law Mesia. Several nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Predeceased by sister-in-law Domenica (Pancrazio), brothers-in-law Nicola (Nicolina) and Pietro (Domenica). Retired from EverFresh Juice, she enjoyed baking, gardening and Italian card games. Thanks to the Windsor dialysis unit for their many years of care, to Dr. Wasserman and the I.C.U. nurses and special thanks to Dolce Vita Retirement especially caregivers Ruth and Berta. East on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
