Obituary of Anne Brousseau

Brousseau, Anne ( nee Senko ) Anne has departed on the Ukraine Express & reunited with her husband of 41 years, Gerard, and sisters Mary & Nettie , and brothers Henry , John & Michael. Left behind are sisters Olga Sinkevitch & Eva ( Wilf )Labrecque. Born in Carrot River Sask. in 1931, she taught in a one room school house. After a while she came to Windsor & worked at TD Bank. She truly lived by the saying " giving the shirt off your back " & taught us to help others. Anne was a life member of the Catholic Women"s League. She is sadly leaving her children Elaine ( Ed ) Langlois , Robert ( Peggy ) Brousseau, Wayne ( Terry ) Brousseau, Carol St. Pierre & Dennis Banner. Special auntie & friends with Janie Kane & Bernie Belanger. Adoring Mimi to 11 grandchildren & 9 great - grandchildren. Anne and her husband"s love of cooking inspired one of her daughter"s to open a restaurant and continue their passion. Anne was the "Bingo Meister. A Big Thank You to all the nurses, Dr. Azuh and Dr. Lubanski who took such good care of her. We would like to also thank Dr. Pandey for his research on dandelion tea for cancer which she believed extended her life & urges him to continue his research. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME ( Main Chapel ) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd East on Thursday April 23, 2015 from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service on Friday April 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Anne memorial donations may be made to Transition to Betterness or to the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation.
