Obituary of Olga Louise Mallat

MALLAT, Olga 85 years on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus, after a short illness with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her husband, the love of her life of 45 years, Jerry (2002). Amazing mom of Debbie and husband Vic Ulch, Brett and wife Sue, Brenda and husband Paul Dubois, and Blaine and wife Nora. Loving and irreplaceable Grandma to Erin (Jason), Jenna (Brendan) and Taylor (Austin), Casey (Sara), Brianna (Brian), Blake (Danna), Ryan (Sonja) and Amanda and Great Grandma to Charlie, Ava, Nora, Addison, James, Bennett, Quinn, Avangeline, & Beau. Survived by her very loving sister Elizabeth Labonte (Ed), sister-in-law Mary Debevc and brother-in-law Gil Charest. Predeceased by her parents Louis (1986) and Josephina Debevc (1974), her sisters Hermina Aqwa (2002) and Minka Charest (2005), brother Edward Debevc (2014) and her brother-in-law- George Aqwa (2020). Our mom was all about family. Her heart was broken when she lost ‘her Jerry’. She is back in his arms forever. Her children and grandchildren always loved being at their home in Puce. The backyard was a favorite family place and leaves them with so many beautiful and fun, loving memories. She was so creative and talented and she spent 25+ years selling her designs at Art in the Park. The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Tecumseh for caring for mom over the last four and half years. They would also like to thank the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital (Met campus, 5th floor N) for caring for her in her final days.
