Obituary of Aurie Everett Gauthier

GAUTHIER, Aurie Passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 21, 2015 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus at the age of 92 years. Reunited with his beloved wife Roma (nee St. Pierre, 2011). Loving Father to Phyllis Bristow, Richard (Sue) Gauthier, Terry (Debbie) Gauthier, and Donald (Karen) Gauthier. Cherished Grandfather and Great-grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by numerous brothers. A heartfelt thank you to WRH, Ouellette Campus (5th floor) and Chartwell (Oak Park) for their outstanding and exceptional care provided to Aurie. Aurie was a retired employee of Chrysler Canada with over 39 years of dedicated service, serving in the capacity of steward, committee man and secretary of skilled trades. He was a member of CAW Local 444 where he dedicated his representation to the Canadian Region Skilled Trades Council. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL), 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Road E. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 3-5 and 7 pm. until time of Funeral service at 8 pm. in the Chapel. Private family interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery on Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
