Obituary of Eveline Bertha Strudwick

STRUDWICK, Eveline (nee Ireland "Little) Born January 13, 1920 in Windsor. Passed into the arms of the Lord on March 1, 2015 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus at the age of 95. Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Harry Strudwick (2009). Survived by daughter Jean Forster, Windsor; sons Ronald Little (Paulette), Tecumseh; Robert Little Vancouver, Stephen Strudwick, Toronto. Step-mother to Wayne Strudwick, Pamela Strudwick, Windsor and late Mary Jennings, Ohio. Cherished grandmother to six, great-grandmother to six and great-great-grandmother to two. Eveline is survived by sister Betty Shaw in California. Predeceased by brothers Ernest Ireland, Charles Ireland, Clarence Ireland; sisters Marie Lawrie, Marjorie Cooney, Florence Peltier, Lillian Girard. Also survived by sister-in-law Cecile Ireland and many nieces and nephews. Eveline was a resident at Devonshire Retirement Home, a past life time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 255 and past member of St. Theresa Card Club. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses on the 6th floor of Ouellette Campus for their kind and excellent care while caring for Eveline.
