I remember the first time I met Jimmy, he looked me up and down, paused, and than said with an undertone of sarcasm, "what's your moms name?" as I began to respond he quickly interrupted and said, "I always knew I had another daughter! Now sit down and grab a beer!" He was joking none the less, but had a way of making me feel immediately welcome. RIP James Knight Thank you for always making me feel so welcome!

I first met Jim in 1970. We had all moved to the new subdivision Forest Glade. Even as an 8 year old Jim was already a born leader. We lived on the same street about 100 yards apart. We ran track together , we played baseball together and I had my first beer with Jimmy. Jim had a big heart and I often thought of the times we had in grade school. He chased me home once from a grade 7 dance because I danced with his girlfriend at the time. I ran out of my boots coming down Esplanade drive and didn't stop to collect them. I thought my life was going to be misery for the rest of my life as you do when you are 12. When I saw Jim the next day it was like nothing had happened. That was Jim. Thank you for being a big part of my youth Jimmy. I can't call you James. You were a big kid in an even bigger body and that's what I will always remember. Oh yeah and taking all summer to paint that white fence. I think you took your time so your dad didn't give you another chore. Scottish Fathers. Rest in Peace. I tell my kids the stories . Your memories will die slow.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. It was several years ago that I met Jim and I have not lived in the area for at least 15 years but the love and kindness he always showed me in the years that i was around will be cared with me always. A guy who always showed me friendship and kindness no matter what the situation was. I will never forget him. My heart hurts for all of you. May he watch over all of you and you find comfort in knowing he will be with you forever.

My deepest condolences to all the Knights- family and friends. I've knew Jimmy since the Forest Glade days and although our paths rarely crossed, in the many years after. He will always be remembered by me, as a solid dude that never had a problem with those who looked different but stood up for themselves...Much Respect Jimmy....RIP
