Obituary of Gertrude Pretty

PRETTY, Gertrude Jean (nee Deacon) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 10, 2015 at the age of 94. Reunited with her loving husband Robert (1991), her parents Edward and Eliza Deacon, and her only sister Alma. Cherished mother to Wanda and husband Derrik of Nova Scotia, Margaret of Windsor, and Greg and wife Colleen of Baden, Ontario. Proud grandmother to Stuart, Scott, Dwayne and Mary, 4 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Gertrude was an avid card player with Emmanuel United Seniors, and for many years did volunteer work with the Alzheimer"s Society. At Gertrude"s request cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service has taken place.
