Obituary of Joseph Edgar Janisse

JANISSE, Joseph Edgar "Ed" Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on January 18, 2015 in Windsor at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Stephanie (nee Kudrej) (2000). Loving father of Patricia "Patti" Janisse (Fred), and James Janisse (Elizabeth). Predeceased by his parents Tony and Marie May Janisse. Cherished grandfather of Keith Marinier (Traci), and Sadey Marinier. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Sr. Antoinette Janisse SNJM, Lucille Seguin (the late Phil), Helen Janisse, and Laurence Janisse (Alice). Lovingly remembered by his special friend Joyce Bezaire and the Boltons, his nieces, nephews, and friends. Following his retirement from Windsor Community Living, Ed enjoyed many years as a driver for Big V, Shoppers and PharmaPlus Drugstores. Ed was known for his humorous entertainment, his keen memory, and his loving personality. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Our Lady of Assumption Church McEwan Campus (711 McEwan Ave) from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
