Obituary of John Slama

SLAMA, John Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 14, 2015 at WRH-Met Campus at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of 53 years to Clara (nee Durstin). Loving father to Joachim "John" (Kathleen) and Claudia Rutter. Dear "Opa" to Sophie and Annie. Cherished brother to Tony Slama (Hilde). Dear uncle to Cornelia and Jens. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Friday January 16, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-8:30pm. Parish prayers Friday at 8pm. A funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 17, 2015 from 9:45am at the funeral home then to St Michael's German Catholic Church (2153 Parkwood Ave.) for a funeral Mass at 10:30am.
