Obituary of Luigi Giacomin

GIACOMIN, Luigi. It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of a dear father and friend on January 9, 2015 at Oak Park LaSalle Retirement Home, at the age of 95 years. Reunited with his beloved wife Alfredina (nee Marotto)(2007). Loving and devoted father to Loretta Giacomin and dear friend to Ron Hall. Predeceased by parents Natale and Caterina Giacomin, and sisters Giovanna, Maria and Irma. Survived by nieces and nephews in Italy and Switzerland. Luigi was retired from General Motors Trim Plant with many years of service and was a member of the former CAW Local 1973, and a proud member of the Trevisani Nel Mondo and Veneti Nel Mondo. A heartfelt thank you to our many friends who have provided steadfast support. Special thanks to the staff of Oak Park LaSalle Retirement Home for their excellent and compassionate care to Luigi and his daughter Loretta. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Road East on Monday January 12th 2015 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Monday at 4:30pm. Funeral service on Tuesday January 13th, 2015 at 8:45am from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
