My deepest sympathy to all members of your family. I was Nick's English teacher at l'Essor in grades 11 and 12. I have nothing but the fondest of memories of Nick, from his German-accented portrayal of the witches in Macbeth, to his excellent creative writing, to his ever-present sense of humour. He was a deep thinker...a person wise beyond his years. I will forever appreciate the respect, compassion and genuine interest with which he treated his teachers and classmates. There is no doubt that he touched an incredible number of people, and that his spirit will remain, strong and inspiring, in the hearts and minds of those who knew him, even passingly. Thank you for bringing Nick into the world, and into my path. I am left overwhelmed with simple gratitude that I could guide him a little on his journey, and that I had the chance to learn from him.
