Karen, Samantha, Hannah, and Tom, I wish I could be there to do whatever you all needed me to do to help. The pain you are feeling, I know must be great. You are all in my thoughts and I will pray for strength and peace for each of you, especially during this first year. While I know you will miss him greatly, try to remember he will be with you in thought, heart and spirit always, watching over you everyday. As much as this hurts, try to remember, he isn't suffering anymore. He is in a much better place and with your mom/grandmother again and someday, a long time from now, you will see them both again. He was a wonderful man who loved you all so much while he was here and will be able to love you and watch over you so much better now. I realize this means nothing right now as the pain is so great, but hopefully this will bring you some comfort eventually.
