Obituary of Filippo Tocco

Tocco, Filippo It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Filippo on December 4th, 2014 with his loving family by his side, at the age of 90 years. Born in Terrasini, Palermo, Italy. Beloved husband and best friend of Rosaria with whom he shared 68 years of marriage. Beloved father of Sera (nee Tocco) and Ken Moore, Nancy (nee Tocco) and Gaetano Ventimiglia, Mary Tocco and predeceased son Tony Tocco. Loved by his Grandchildren Tammy, Jack, Ken, Michelle, and Nina. Filippo at present has been blessed with 4 Great-Grandchildren Chole, Jesse, Jordon, and Erika. Predeceased by his brother Vito Tocco of Windsor, and sisters Grace and Piera from Italy. Survived by brother Tony Tocco of LaSalle and his sister Serafina Palazzo of Terrasini, Palermo, Italy. Proud and dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Filippo was an avid Maple Leaf fan never missing a game whether by TV or radio, he enjoyed gardening and loved family time. He retired from Chrysler Canada after 32 years of employment. Special thanks to Dr. John Samoila and Dr. George Wong for their exceptional care and support.
