Obituary of James Henry Walsh

Passed away peacefully on October 23, 2014 at the age of 84. Loving husband of Pearl (nee Langlois) for 64 years. Reunited with his parents Edward and Henrietta Walsh. Cherished father of the late Jim (Laurie) Walsh, Karen (Bob) Martyniuk, John (Michelle) Walsh, Shelly (late Dan) Borri and friend Marty, and Pamela (Tim) Wigle. Dear grandfather of Justin (Diane) Walsh, Jeffry Martyniuk, Thomas Walsh, Jennifer (Dom) Ming, Colin Borri, Karly Wigle, Nicholas Borri and great-grandfather of Shyana Storm, Logan Walsh, Alexandra Martyniuk and Sydney Ming. Brother of the late Edward Walsh, the late Myrtle (William) Arnold, the late Rosetta (Matthew) Lesky, Christina (late Robert) Lewis and the late John (Delores) Walsh. James will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. James retired from Chrysler Canada after 29 years of dedicated service; he was a long-time member of Local 444, the Moose Lodge Branch 1499 and Players Club. He was proud of his long-time service as an usher at Sacred Heart Church and Immaculate Heart Church. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday October 24, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd) on Saturday October 25, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
