Obituary of Joseph Camille Belanger

BELANGER, Joseph Camille Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 12, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Mary May (nee Boudreau) whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage. Loving father of Gary Belanger ( Irene) and Mike Belanger. Cherished grandfather of Kayla, Kelsey, Garrett and Abigail. Dear brother of Bernadette Marier & husband Benoit, also predeceased by Jean Paul , Fr. Lionel , and George with his surviving wife Marilyn. Predeceased by his parents Omer and Lucy Belanger. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joseph retired from Chrysler Canada after 32 years of service and was a member of C.A.W. Local 444. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4924. Joe was actively involved with sports as a player, coach, fan and most enjoyed cheering on his own boys and grandchildren. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday October 16, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Parish prayers Thursday at 7:30pm. Funeral services on Friday October 17, 2014 at 10:15am from the funeral home then to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd.) for funeral mass at 11:00am. Cremation to follow.
