Obituary of Theresa Madeleine Latouf

LATOUF, Theresa Madeleine (nee Renaud) "Tutu" Passed away surrounded by her loving family, on October 4, 2014 at WRH, Met. Campus, at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of 50 years to Gerald. Loving mother to Terry Venables, John Latouf (Tiffiney); both of Windsor; and Jason Latouf (Cathy) of Belle River. Cherished grandmother to Jamie, Jeremy, Anthony, Amanda, Aly, Mitchell, Emily, Cody, and great-grandmother to Aryanna and Rio. Dear sister to the late Mary Anne Gouthro (2013) and surviving husband Jim. Predeceased by her parents Gilbert and Alice Renaud. Theresa was a pillar and advocate for the Drouillard Rd. community where she gave of herself unselfishly to assist the needs of the people and their children. Her vision, steadfast determination and big heart guided her as the past-president of the Drouillard Rd. Action Centre, in truly making a difference in peoples lives. Today, the fruits of her labour and inspiration are evident with the accomplishment of establishing the Gino and Liz Marcus Community Complex and its many programs. Her legacy will be a lasting one that will continue to serve for generations to come. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at 7:30 pm. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd.) for visitation from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10 am. Committal Services and cremation to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
