Obituary of Edward John Prieur

Passed away peacefully on Sunday October 5, 2014 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of 54 years to Connie (Nee Taylor) (July 16, 2012). Loving father to Laulie- Lou Strong & husband Lawrence, Jessica Sabutsch & husband Robert, Jeffery Prieur & wife Denise, Mark Prieur & late wife Denise (2010) and the late Nelson Prieur (1965). Son to the late Raymond (1999) and Eva Prieur (2003) Cherished grandfather to Rebecca, Cherie (David), Amanda (Patrick), Chantelle, Jeremy (Shantel), Michael (Melinda), Marcel (Nicole), Zack and Nick. Great grandfather to Liam, Samantha. Kylee, and Kayden. Dear brother to Madeleine Caputo (Frank 1997) & (Patrick McNeil 1975) , Geraldine Forrestell (Robert), Harold Prieur(1966) , Theresa (1975), Rose Bechard (2000) Clarence, Donald Prieur (2011) Donna, Mae Clifford (Dan) and Betty (Dave). Dear brother- in- law to Robin & Denis Blain, Roger & Linda Taylor, Late Ronald Taylor (1954) and Rick & Marilyn Taylor. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Thanks to the staff in the Tecumseh Wing for taking care of father at Aspen Lake. Edward retired from General Motors Transmission with 33 years of service he was a member of the Local 1973. Interment to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Staples, ON.
