Obituary of Gail Frances Parkolab

PARKOLAB, Gail (nee Duquette) The world lost a kind, giving and beautiful woman with the passing of Gail Parkolab on September 1, 2014 just short of her 75 birthday. Loved by husband Harry Parkolab, her son Gregory and his wife Lori, and her daughter Ann Marie and husband Guy Cote , she joins her late son Jeff (2000). Daughter of late Leo and Mildred Duquette, sister of Gerald Duquette, Eugene Duquette (Alex), Eleanor Dame (Bernard). Predeceased by in-laws Harry and Anne Parkolab. The family was fortunate to have had the time to let her know how much she was loved. She was a loving and amazing mother. Crafting jewelry, knitting scarves, sewing baby blankets and children's character bath towels was a favourite past time. Generous, with a heart of gold, who would do anything for anybody. Loved by many nieces and nephews and "adopted" grandchildren. Gail was the corresponding secretary for the Windsor Symphony Orchestra Guild. Gail was a retired long time employee of Sears Children's Wear. Visitation at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Thursday September 4, 2014 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. CWL prayers Thursday at 4:30pm. and parish prayers at 7:30pm. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday September 5, 2014 for visitation at St. Anne Church, Tecumseh (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.) from 11:00 am until time of funeral Mass at 12:00 pm. Fr. Larry Brunet officiating. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery. In memory of Gail, donations may be made to your favourite charity or give an act of kindness to show your love for Gail.
