CARNEVALE. Maria Luisa (nee Schincariol) Born December 6, 1937 in Gruaro, Venezia, Italy. Passed away peacefully, at 76 years of age, on July 31, 2014, after a lengthy illness with her loving family by her side. Cherished wife of the late Francesco (2008). Loving mother of Mary Jane (Gina) Rettig and husband Ron, Angelo Carnevale and wife Benny. Beloved and devoted Nonna of Michael (Shelby), Steven (Christina), Robert (2007) Rettig, Jasmyne (Jeff), Ali (Darin) and Christian (Emily) Carnevale. Bis-nonna of Isla, and Olivia Rettig. Dear daughter of the late Pietro and Oliva (Pellerin) Schincariol. Beloved sister to Sergio and wife Nancy Schincariol, Emilio and wife Marisa Schincariol. Dear sister-in-law of Gina Berardi and husband Alfredo, (Toronto), Viola Cervini and late husband Amato (Italy), Franco Marcoccia (Toronto). Predeceased by brothers-in-law Rocco, Armando (Rosa), and sisters-in-law Carolina Marcoccia, Maria Carnevale. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, United States and Italy. Mom was totally devoted to her family and friends and was always there for anyone who needed anything. She appreciated the little things in life wholeheartedly. She faced many challenges in life with courage, perseverance and determination. Mom will be remembered for her love of cooking, baking and sharing with all. No visitor ever went home hungry. E., on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
