Obituary of Laurier Louis Philip Giroux

GIROUX, Laurier "Larry" Passed away May 29, 2014 at Banwell Gardens, at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary (2013). Loving and cherished Dad of Cathy. Dear brother of Florence Enright, of New Zealand. Also predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Dear brother-in-law of Helen Baker and her late husband Russ, of Arizona. Special thanks to friends Kim and Bill. Larry was retired from General Motors Transmission Plant after 40 years of dedicated service. He was a Windsor Spitfire and Toronto Maple Leafs fan. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Banwell Gardens for the excellent care shown to Larry. At Larry's request cremation has taken place. Interment of Larry's cremated remains will take place on Tues., June 10, 2014 at 2pm at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In kindness donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Windsor and Essex County, would be appreciated.
