Obituary of Kenneth Lyle Owen

OWEN, Kenneth Lyle It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth on May 29, 2014 at the age of 68 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Madeline. Predeceased by his parents Redford and Evelyn Owen. Dear brother of Gary (Betty Ann), Thomas (Susan), Jim (Aline) and John (Julie). Brother in-law of Bill (Nicole) Jewell, Betty (late Bruce) Cheswick, Marjorie (George) Chapman, Ruth (Ray) Gignac, Rebecca (Gerald) McGaw, Phyllis Lepain, Donald (late Barbara) Jewell, Frances (late Donald) Beaulieu and Monica Jewell. He will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews. Ken retired from Providence Care Hospital in Kingston, Ont. after working for 25 years with the mentally ill and geriatric. He enjoyed life at his cottage at Big Gull Lake, especially boating & fishing. Special thanks to Dr. Elalam, Dr. Kanjeerkal, Dr. Oozeer and Dr. Cargill for their compassion and care of Ken and the Nurses from St. Elisabeth, especially Karen Bray. Thank you to Erica at Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre and Staff at Hospice Residential for your thoughtfulness and compassionate care given to Ken, that will always be a memory I shall hold dear.
