ARMSTRONG, David William "Army" Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Hospice of Windsor on May 12, 2014 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of the the late Barbara Young (2000). Dear father of Cheryl Colborne of Windsor, Susan Armstrong of Toronto, and Heather Armstrong of Windsor. Gramps to Christie Baumgartner, Katie and Adam Colborne, and Lauren and Sarah Peltier. Son of the late D.J."Jack" Armstrong and the late Lillian (Palmer) of Fletcher. Brother of Diane Morris (John) of Essex. Best friend of Dee. Formerly employed at American Can Co. Chatham, Ontario Retail Sales Tax Windsor Branch, and retired after 30 years at Chrysler Canada. "Army" was active in Local 1498 UAW and CAW for several years. E. today, Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
