Please excuse my delay in writing. Today is January 23, 2023 and it is the first I heard of Dear Laura's passing. Although I have thought about her so many times through the years, it never crossed my mind that I could try to locate her on the computer.
Laura was a lovely example of a lady indeed. I knew her for many years from her job in Royal Oak, Michigan and you can't imagine how many times Laura's words of kindness helped me through some difficult situations.
She was an absolute light in a dark place. i'm sure not many of her Ontario friends ever dreamed of the types of people Laura came across her in service job. From big bikers (motorcycle thugs) that knew to treat Laura with respect, to sad teenagers and young adults who looked to Laura as a kind mother figure. God bless her. I hope to see Laura again in heaven!
