THORNTON, Dorothy May (nee Brown) Passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of 58 years of Sam (Neil) Thornton. Loving mother of Daniel, Wendy Bondy (Patrick), Linda Little (Lester), Luke, and Lori Pickle (Rick). Cherished grandmother of Amy, Matthew, Eric, Chantelle, Samantha, Corey, and Lukas. Adored great grandmother of 5 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Peter Brown and her sister Barbara Teaney. Survived by her brother George Brown. Dorothy will also be lovingly remembered by her many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, and her special companion, her dog Helmet. A private memorial celebration of Dorothy"s life will take place at a later date.
