Obituary of Venance Alphonse Robert

ROBERT, Venance "Van" Passed away peacefully on April 17, 2014 at Heron Terrace, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband to Violet (nee Ellwood) with whom he celebrated 64 years of marriage. Loving father to Sherry (Keith) Ashley, Marie (Carl) Riberdy, Nancy (Claude) LaFleur, Victor (Marsha) Robert, Mark (Elena) Robert, Timothy (Kelly) Robert, and Tracy (Tom) Miller. Cherished "pepe" to 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Van is survived by 3 siblings and predeceased by 5. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Van was retired from Ford Motor Company with 37 years of dedicated service and was a member of CAW Local 200. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Heron Terrace, Meadows, and Lookout Point for their compassionate care provided to Van. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
