Obituary of Geraldine Carmen Neilson

NEILSON, Geraldine "Gerrie" (nee Sway) Passed away peacefully on April 6, 2014 at the age of 95 years. Reunited with her loving husband Douglas(2004). Predeceased by her parents John and Rachael Sway. Dear sister of John Sway (2007), Kathleen Sobanski(2011), Norma Czilli(2011), Gladys Frenette, Allan Sway and sister-in-law of Dorothy Sway, Leona Sway, John Sobanski(1985), Edward Czilli(1954), Marcel Frenette(2014) and Alfred(1996) and Beatrice(2008) Neilson. Cherished aunt of Delores and Elaine and many nieces and nephews. Gerrie was a long standing member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church and choir and will forever be remembered for her beautiful alto voice. Heartfelt thanks for the devoted care and love given to Gerrie by the Huron Lodge staff " especially those on the 2nd floor Maple wing. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Gerrie"s life at Gethsemane Lutheran Church (1921 Cabana Rd. West) on Friday April 11, 2014 from 10:30a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Robert Voelker officiating. Private family burial to follow.
