Obituary of George Andrew Gardilcic

GARDILCIC, George (Djura) Andrew. George loved fishing and spending time at his "camp" in northern Ontario. Born in Split, Yugoslavia on November 29, 1926, George came to Canada in 1950. He was a resident of Sudbury for 32 years, worked for Vale Inco at the Creighton Mines and was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America. He passed away peacefully at Extendicare Southwood Lakes, Windsor, on Friday March 21, 2014. George was in his 88th year and was the beloved husband of the late Goldie Gardilcic (nee Sajatovich) (2005). Dearest father of Nada Samardzic and grandfather of Boris, Dalibor and Dejan. Sadly missed by brother Eduard and his wife Andjelka. Fondly remembered by nephew Ivan and his wife Lynne.
