Obituary of Beniamino Sirizzotti

SIRIZZOTTI, Beniamino "Benny" With very sad hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, nonno, bis-nonno, brother, brother in-law, uncle and friend to all. Born on February 29, 1928 in Veroli, Frosinone, Italy; and then on March 20th, 2014, he passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his side. At age 86 years, he leaves behind his devoted wife of 66 years, Teresa (nee Rotondo); his loving sons, Gino and wife Giovanna and Frank and wife Maria; his grandchildren Nick and wife Samantha, Benny, Chris, Lisa and Frankie (2011); and great-grandchildren Marcello, Jaiden, and Braelynn. He is now reunited with grandson Frankie, his brother Trieste and sister in-law Santina. Benny will be fondly remembered by brothers, Crescenzo and late wife Augustina, Emilio and wife Gina; his sisters, Carmela and late husband Umberto Rotondo, Marietta and her late husband Nino Yanneli, and late Luisa and husband Santino D'Amico; brothers in-law, Pietro and wife Anna Rotondo, Lazzareno and wife Teresa Rotondo; sisters in-law, the late Anita and husband Martino Recine, and Fiorinda and husband Gino Testani. He will be forever missed by nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. Beniamino was a member and usher at St. Angela Merici Church and retired from General Motors after 34 years of dedicated service. Special thanks to nurses Carol and Karen of Bayshore, and also Tammy, the PSW from Saint Elizabeth Health Care for their compassionate care. E. on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
