Obituary of Giovanni Mio

MIO Giovanni 98 years, passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellete Campus on February 22, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Angela (Nee Manias, 1998) Loving father of John and wife Marie - Edmonton, Eddie Mio - West Bloomfield MI., Rennie and Patricia, Windsor. Loving Nonno of Julia, Zachary, Julian, Olivia, late Scott (2008), Preston, Katya, Edward and Grant and four great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews survive as well as other relatives, Enzo, Theresa, Mark, Charlene, and many close friends. Papa was a long time devoted employee of Scofan Construction. Giovanni was a long standing member of the Fogolar Furlan Club. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
