Obituary of Amalia Belluzzo
BELLUZZO, Amalia (nee Fantin) Amalia was born on September 30, 1917 in Italy. She passed away at the age of 96 on February 14, 2014 in Brampton Ontario with her loving family at her side. Amalia worked at Metropolitan Hospital for almost 30 years. She loved Bingo and playing cards. She was a member of the Italian Womens Caboto Club Auxiliary. Amalia was married to Armando Belluzzo (1992) for 51 years. She is survived by her daughters Maria Rosa D"Andrea (Venicio- 1999) of Windsor and Adelia Valentine (Kirk- 2009) of Brampton. She leaves behind six grandchildren- Licia (Steve) Sklepetas of Toronto, Pamela (Marino) Morassutti of Richmond Hill, Ricardo (Adorina) D"Andrea of Kingsville, Sean Valentine, Gregory Valentine of Brampton and Phillip (Courtney) Valentine of Toronto. Amalia also had six great-grandchildren- Melissa, Nadia, Leo, Cassandra, Veronica and Dante. She is survived by her sister-in-law Norina Belluzzo (Marcello) of Windsor and numerous nieces and nephews in Canada, United States, Italy and Argentina. Amalia will be sadly missed by many other family and friends. Amalia is the last of her siblings. She is predeceased by Rosa, Celestina (Lino), Guido (Severina), Angelina (Lino), Sr. Martina, Urbano (Gemma), Attilio (Luigia). East on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 3-8 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends are requested to meet at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd.) on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
