GARDIN, Nella (Giraldi) January 20, 1921 " February 13, 2014 Passed away peacefully on February 13, 2014 at the age of 93yrs. Predeceased by loving husband Remo. The last surviving member of 9 siblings: Giuseppe (Adrenia); Ettore (Rina); Angelicuti; Ferucio (Mariucci); Palmira (Umberto Battistuta); Virginia (Berto Barei); Maria; and Angelina (Guerrino Schincariol). Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Vittorina (Renzo) Gardin, and nephews Andy (Christine) and Elmer Schincariol; and great niece & nephew Michelle and Kevin of Windsor, as well as extended family residing in Italy, Australia, and U.S.A. Nella was a compassionate and caring woman. The gentle "zia" of the neighbourhood. Known for her love of flowers and mastery of cooking, she was loved by everyone who knew her. Funeral Tuesday February 18, 2014 at 8:45 am from the Funeral Home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
