LUCCHINO, Giovanni " John" 1928 - 2014 Peacefully at the age of 86 years. Devoted & loving husband to Ida ( nee Gatto ) sharing 60 years of love & friendship. Beloved Father to Tony & wife Nancy and Aldo & wife Teresa. Cherished Nonno to John, Jordan, Jenna, Jessica, Nina and Juliana Lucchino , Shannon Campbell & husband Charles and Ryan Dickie. Precious Bis-Nonno to Katelyn Elsie. Loved brother to Anna , Giuseppe and predeceased by Domenic , Teresa and Maria. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Before immigrating to Canada Giovanni was a Truck Driver working hard to support his family. He continued his work in Canada with Ford Motor Company where he was a dedicated skilled trades worker and a member of Unifor. Visitation at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home ( Banwell Chapel ) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd East on Tuesday January 21, 2014 from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Parish prayers Tuesday at 4:30 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM from the Banwell Chapel then to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) for funeral mass at 11:00 AM.
