Patricia and Paul, David and Shannon, I am still at a loss for words. Andrew dying so tragically and senselessly leaves the world and you without the special touch he imparted on so much of what he did. You've lost a son and a brother--I've lost a partner in parenting Emilie. Let us not ever forget what he meant to us and that he only wanted a few things in life: to belong, to be loved, to help out when needed, and to be a part of his daughter's life. He had a big heart. I'm thinking of you, and hoping that you'll experience some moments of grace whenever you need them.

Pat, Paul, Ginette and Emilie Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad time. Andy was a wonderful person, Darcy would tell us how he was such a wonderful father and that Emilie was everything to him. I was so deeply saddened to hear of this huge loss not only for you but for the world. I went to high school with Andrew and I can tell you that he has left an incredible mark on his classmates. He had a walk that looked as though he was walking on a cloud we couldn't see. It seemed to lift him as he moved through his day with warm hellos and genuine exchanges. He was in Godspell with my sister and her memories of him as fine human being ring out through social media today. Emilie, you had a very special daddy. He was deeply respected and will be remembered as one who touched people, making this world a better place. There is no greater legacy. Please know that the Speer family is thinking of you, remembering with warmth and sending you peace in our hearts. With deep respect, Shannon Speer

I came to know Andrew during the Dunnville High School's production of Godspell and have nothing but positive and lovely memories of the gentle, funny, kind, smart and talented boy that we all came to love and respect. Please know that Andrew will be remembered with deep fondness and that it was a privilege working, creating and learning with him. My sincerest condolences to Andrew's family and friends.

Dear Paul, Pat and Dave....... I am so sorry to hear of Andrew's passing. I haven't seen him for years but his smile, his friendliness, and his sense of humour are memories I will not forget. I recall his vsits to our house on Kneider to see if Beth could come out and play. He was a joyful child who politely related well to others, whether children or adults. I recall his persistence, and hard work in grade 13 English. He never gave up, and was constantly trying to improve his work. He was a favourite student of mine. Hopefully, the thought that so many people thought of Andrew as a good friend will provide you with some solace at this difficult time. Sincerely, Kent Tuttle
